My first official card from Poland =D Very nice views, and I'm surprised the scanner cooperated as well.

Received: 29.11.2012

And another two nice stamps for the collection as well =)

I'm very happy to see a card like this from Germany, as it was extremely cold and snowy this evening on the commute home!

Also love the different selection of stamps as well!

6th DS

Interesting story, this card is from the Netherlands and I saw there was another postcard in the post box also from the Netherlands. I thought "More mail from Holland?" turns out for once the postcard wasn't addressed to me but to my entire family, as it was from our relatives in Holland. Funny how things work sometimes XD

Anyways this cool DS was in-exchange for making a card for my exchange partner, since she faved one of my previous cards I made for someone. It says "impact."

Received: 23.11.2012

I can fairly say I've been to a number of places in the Netherlands but for some reason I only notice these slim houses in Amsterdam. Still love the stamp though, and those houses XD

First and foremost Happy Thanksgiving to our neighbours in the US! After all this cool shaped card found it's way to me on their holiday |D

One of those rare times I can make out the date stamp, posted coincidentally on my mother's birthday.

Lions near the Bezborodko Country House on the Sverdlovskaya Embarkment

My first card from Russia =D I had to cheat a little with the picture, the cropper wasn't having any of it so I used the same image from the postcrossing page |D

Received: 20.11.2012

Too bad it's not a polar bear |D Bear...bear...come...closer!

A nice looking ad-card from Singapore Airlines.

Received: 20.11.2012

3rd DS

My first card from Poland!

Received: 19.11.2012

Too bad I can't read the text on the stamps though

And here we have a picture of a tea plant, apparently this was taken in Sri Lanka but the card is from Belarus |D

Received: 19.11.2012

Belarus has buffalo?

That's a good question, I don't know cause I have no idea what I would be like drunk |D (Yeah, I've never gotten drunk, true story.)

Received: 16.11.2012

A much better view of this stamp, I guess it was mailed from the Netherlands even though it's from Belgium.

I can't say much other then it's an ad for a club? I was born in the 90s so I guess the theme passes |D
Received: 16.11.2012

Is is just me but every time I receive the stamp the postmark is not as bad as the last? (Then again there wasn't a postmark on the other one...I think.)

I was wondering about the image at first until I discovered that this was from the wedding of Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima of the Dutch Royal Family. Didn't expect to see that coming lol

Received: 14.11.2012

And 2 (or 3?) interesting stamps from the Netherlands, I haven't seen these before so I'm quite pleased with them =)

Got this cute card from the Czech Republic today, it's based off a story which I'll need to google since it sounds like an interesting story

Received: 14.11.2012

I should refrain from scanning stuff, this peacock feather stamp looks much better then that!

I wonder what this stamp is about (my Czech isn't that great XD)

Grizzly Bear takes it easy...Coastal British Columbia, Canada
Also known as brown bears, BC's coastal grizzlies (Ursus arctos) are vegetarians during the spring and early summer months. In late summer and fall, they fatten themselves on spawning salmon to prepare for hibernation. They may no yet be endangered, but their mainland coast habitat is shrinking.

No "official" mail today, just this awesome bear postcard from Vancouver Island! I faved this card for another person and the original person who sent it to her was nice enough to send me a copy. Thanks again =)

Received: 05.11.2012

Maybe I should invest in these series stamps and just tack multiple stamps on cards instead of those bland international ones...

This amazing postcard came from Austria today, I love it so much! *adds it to the duck collection* and Canada post had to triple postmark it... *shakes fist at them* T_T

Received: 01.11.2012

And a lovely stamp commemorating Gustav Klimt's 150th birthday. If anyone remembers back in July of this year google made a commemorative version of their logo about his painting "The Kiss"

Moose Calves (Alces alces)
Moose are the largest members of the deer family and are generally solitary animals, except during mating season. Cows usually bear one offspring after a gestation period of 230 days. Calves weigh between 24 to 35 pounds at birth and have reddish-brown coats.

For someone who comes from a country filled with moose, I've never seen a calf before. I also love how curious it looks as well.

This is Glacier National Park in Montana. Montana is the closest state to Alberta, I wouldn't mind visiting this park one day.
