Port Rowan & St. Williams, ON

Common Loon (Gavia immer)
This large, long-bodied (28-36 inches or 70-90 cm), low swimming bird with a dagger-like bill, has grown to symbolize nature's wilderness. While awkward on land, the Common Loon is an excellent swimmer and diver

Two wonderful cancels arrived from Ontario today for a swap, little did I know how surprised would I be. I also wish we had more cards with photos taken in the fog. This one is just stunning

Port Rowan really has a lot of nice cancels!

This is also a favourite, I really do like looking at the variation in bark. Received on the same day
