That's a cool ad-card, it sort of reminds me of something out of a game. Must be the interesting architecture in the background

Oh my god, postage went up 60 euro cents in less than 2 years?! Yikes, no wonder there's only a handful of Italian postcrossers...

Ah, the one lone tree in this large plain. How do people come across these places?

Here's some cool comic art from the 60's, definitely some old fashioned ink and pen there!

Most otters live in freshwater, inhabiting inland waterways on all continents except Australia and Antarctica. Sea otters, by contrast, are found only in the northern Pacific off of far eastern Russia, northern Japan, and the west coast of North America. The most populous of the three subspecies, the northern sea otter (Enhydra lutris kenyoni) lives in the coastal waters of Washington, Canada, and Alaska.

Some cool cards from the "NA Taking out the Trash x4" forum thread, got some good ones here! Also with the sea otter... if most of them live in freshwater... why are they called "sea" otters?!

This comes from a queer postcard book, I need this now!

I think I might have seen this book back when I worked in a bookstore.

Looks like a picture from Prohibition or perhaps a re-enactment? Can't help but wonder what life would be like if alcohol consumption was still considered illegal.

What a cute stamp!

Hello card #800! And what an awesome card to be that 800, a nice blend of all that is Russian in one picture. Love it!

That's certainly one interesting pressure points chart, depends how you want to interpret it right?

The stamp on the right was the absolute highlight of the card for me!

Another cute little card, I can't help but think this mouse has a monocle lol

With the help of the Genie and friends, Aladdin finds happiness with Princess Jasmine.

Oh Aladdin, that was the stuff when I was growing up. It's too bad I can barely remember the story though... I still want to ride a magic carpet though!

What a cute card XD It certainly screams "Ireland" doesn't it? (In a rather stereotypical way.) But then again who doesn't love cute sheep?

Received: 16.03.2016

I think this is an automat stamp, still better than what I've received before.

Isn't that creepy? But that's the point alright, and it sure is. Makes me wonder if the tentacles belong to the skull or not lol

Bonus card!

And stamps! I really like that stamp on the bottom right!

Greetings from the Netherlands! I could have sworn I've seen this background image already on a postcard. This card has since been changed to reflect a new number of 34000 members in NL and a new population number of 16 912 640 (this picture isn't my card) but the rest stays the same :)

Nice deco job

And some more nice stamps :D

What a nice looking town, this card shows a town that is located high up past the Arctic Circle. Must be cold! Oh and the endless nights and days must be interesting to experience too!

Another pretty stamp, the swan has some gold highlights on it

It's the Year of the Monkey this year! And of course I have to ask for cards of this theme since it's my year, after all it comes only once every 12 years. Nothing better than some of them wearing little scarves and hats to keep warm :)

Greetings from Sweden! I really do regret not visiting the last time I was in Europe, Swedish might also be a fun language to learn with it also being Germanic... I also wonder if Ikea will make a little more sense if I knew Swedish...hmm.

This postmark is amazing!

"I mustn't always stand in the center, sitting is also okay."

This made me chuckle, guess it shows what kind of humour I like :P

Whether you believe it or not - this is Berlin
Regardless if it's day or night...

I really like this division between day and night on this card, the Berliner German is even better or Low German... I have no idea honestly. This makes it even more tricky for me having learnt Standard German as a second language (and I'm by no means fluent!) and so I wrote a loose translation above that should be taken with a grain of salt.

And a "matching" stamp of course! Sanssouci Palace is located in the city of Potsdam, a stone's throw away from Berlin

Mystical Owls! It's been so long! It's cool to see another one and it turns out there's more new ones :0 The collection grows slowly it seems, that and praise the sun!

Received: 10.03.2016

Some extra owl stamps in there :0

And this was just so cute! Owls everywhere :D

Even the envelope was cut to form the eyes and beak of the owl!

I was afraid this card was upside down and then I realized it was. Note to self... look at balconies next time. It's funny I'm only noticing so many things about this card now as I'm typing this out, I just noticed that large sticker that also won't come off. I guess this is what you call taking a look at something with "fresh eyes."

One of the cards I got from the Manila meet up felt very appropriate to send across the country. I do have train cards but I prefer to save them for people who want to receive them :)

Received: 10.03.2016

It was also important to send something away on the 29th as well ;) It's too bad the other stamps didn't get canceled though, even with a regular postmark. Oh well.

Interesting, it takes a week to go there but less than a week to come back.
