A very interesting piece of artwork coming from France to finish off the week

Received: 17.06.2016

Some extra stamps, love the Spanish New Year ones!

Beresford, NB

I really liked this card but couldn't think of a good way to send it to myself, until now since I had no butterfly cards. Works well enough to match I would think

Received: 17.06.2016

For some reason the location is pinned in the water...

I found 2 wonderful surprises in my mailbox! This meetup card from the Pointe-au-Pere meeting in Quebec. It was a fantastic surprise especially because of the matching stamps and cancel!

Received: 17.06.2016

Card 1 with a very clear postmark

And card 2 with the matching custom stamp

Vulcan, AB

Another one of the beautiful travel poster cards I scored at October's meetup. Always perfect for some of these "space" themed cancels!

Received: 15.06.2016

And where else to send but to Vulcan! This cancel is falling apart so best mail out now for this one in particular!

I had to buy these cards for the Trekkie postcrosser one might come across (and believe me, I managed to send away 2 of my Star Trek cards away that I got from Berlin)

That and tribbles or so damn cute!

The new Vulcan cancel to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Original Series.

Patwon ki Haveli is the most convoluted and outstanding of all the Jaisalmer havelis in Rajasthan. It stands in a narrow lane in the centre of the city and one of its apartments is painted with stunning murals.

Some beautiful architecture straight from India, also apparently from one of the most visited states in India too!

Oh wow, I haven't seen this for awhile. This is from the anime "Fate Stay Night," it still surprises me how big the Fate franchise is. From my friend in Japan

France! I've been receiving a lot of cards from you lately; that being said, I'm still happy to finally receive a GF card from there :)

Received: 14.06.2016

An excellent selection of stamps too!

A lot of fun cards from the "5 mix card tag"! This is also my first from Kazakhstan in awhile too :D Now I wonder where our wise old friend is from, don't suppose that's Jonathan is it?

A cool postcrossing themed card written on by the sender, this one is easily my favourite :)

A very detailed map of Nova Scotia, I really hope to visit this beautiful province one day. The tartan overlay is also a nice touch. From one of the FB group games

Interior view of the Hall of Supreme Harmony

Some lovely and intricate Chinese architecture, it sure must have taken a long time to have decorated this room alone

Received: 08.06.2016

Cute pandas coming straight from China! I'm wondering though, have I ever actually received a panda card from China before? It sure feels like a first :0

Received: 08.06.2016

I just had to show off this great free hand drawing of the sender's location

Naturally a matching bamboo stamp XD

339th Tag

What a cool looking card coming from the "anime/manga tag," this character is from the anime "Black Shooter."

The Galo are a central Eastern Himalayan tribe, who primarly inhabit the West Siang district of modern day Arunachal Pradesh state in North-Eastern India.
The Galo population is estimated at 80597 (2001 census), which makes them one of the most populous tribes of Arunachal Pradesh. Galo are normally monogamous, but polygamy is also practiced by affluent people as a sign of their prosperity and prestige. Traditionally, Galo practice shifting cultivation. However in the 1960s and 1970s, wet rice and terraced cultivation has been introduced by the Government. Shifting cultivation, though on decline is still practiced, especially in remote villages.

I received this interesting card, it was very informative about this specific group of people that I had not known about until now. Gotta love learning about different cultures!

What a cool card! I got this for a tag request on the FB group, really a great choice. Wouldn't want to run into them

This card is also from the sender and arrived the same day, also from another FB game. This map card is somewhat dated, but unfortunately it doesn't state what time period the map is from.
